THE
DAY AHEAD
I woke up this morning,
not too early.
Well, maybe early for me.
It seems that as the days are getting longer,
Then the more I see.
I've begun to realize, life will always be a big surprise.
And all my life,
I worried what was coming next.
Maybe things would not work out, even if I did my best.
So I tried hard to find out what to do instead.
Now I'm looking forward to the day ahead.
I only need a little
motivation,
And then I'm on my way.
The future's filled with such anticipation,
If I don't go astray.
I'll make sure I always see, something new in store for me.
And all my life,
I wanted to do something more.
But I found that in the past, I waited till I could be sure.
Now I always have, a reason to get out of bed.
And I'm looking forward to the day ahead.
INSTRUMENTAL
I always knew I
had so much potential,
If I just stayed true.
I concentrate on trying to stay focused,
To do what I must do.
I know my path is everlasting. I won't give up until I do the last thing.
All my life, I wanted
to something good,
But you know it took some time, to do the things I thought I should.
And I won't stop, till I've done everything I said.
Now, I'm looking forward to the day ahead.
