WATER
LILIES
The sun shines down upon his garden
Home behind
his home
From the bridge
and the shores, he sits
Working all alone
Sun
shines off his water lilies
Out behind
his home
Underneath
by the pond, he sits
Working all alone.
We
still remember all the other things you've done
And though
there were some times appreciation was not shown
We will all
shine because of you
See your skies of white and blue
Know the joys
of light and color
Contrasts not like any other
Water lilies
in your pond
There to see when you are gone.
The
sun will change from morn to evening
Day will turn
to night
Seems wherever
you were, you captured
All the changing light
Sun
shines on your water lilies
Out behind
your home
Underneath
by the pond, you sit
Working all alone.
We
still remember all the other things you've done
And though
there were some times appreciation was not shown
We will all
shine because of you
See your skies of white and blue
Know the joys
of light and color
Contrasts not like any other
Water lilies
in your pond
There to see when you are gone.
The
sun shines down upon his garden
Home behind
his home.
From the bridge
and the shores, he sits
Working all
alone.
